What's new?

Last weekend was quite busy - with Mahers on Friday evening, there was a wedding reception there too (congratulations Molly & Dave!)

Saturday was an early start to play bagpipes at a funeral for the O'Neal family (they sent me a lovely testimonial which you can see on my bagpipes web page ). This was a sad event for a young girl (20 years old) who had lost the battle to cancer. I played an hour outside St Mary's Cathedral, Portland as people were arriving. There were really a lot of people - and many of them stayed outside to listen to me before they went in.

The afternoon was a happy occasion - I played at the retirement party of Steve Dennis and his wife Dana - it was a great afternoon / evening, a lovely setting with lovely people!
